Beef Shorthorn Cattle were the basis for most of the cattle breeds around the world and have always been renowned for the quality of the marbled beef they produce.
Our cattle are reared traditionally on grass, providing beef full of flavour.
Our beef is hung for at least 17 days and then cut up,vacuum packed, labelled and boxed. The packs are then delivered locally or can be sent anywhere icountry for a small extra charge.
We usually supply packs of 20Kg enabling us to provide the full range of cuts in each pack.
The cuts included are: fillet, rump and sirloin steak, best roasting joints, pot roasts, rib eye, braising steak, stewing meat and mince and sausages.
Smaller packs can be supplied if required but once tried you will soon want a decent sized pack!
LAMB
Swaledale sheep are a slow maturing hill breed of sheep producing quality, full flavoured lamb available from October until early February.
Whole lambs can be supplied with all joints cut to your own requirements.
For example: legs can be whole or halved; shoulders can be whole, halved, rolled or as a cushion and the loin can be left as a rack or cut into chops.
Lambs range in size from 12 to 18Kg.
